Canopy is pleased to highlight Senior Staff Instructor, Victoria Slaboda, for the month of November. Her dedication to growth as an instructor has seen her traveling to teacher trainings all over the Southeast in the last two years. But it is Victoria’s commitment to caring for those around her, in small acts of kindness like unexpected gifts or extra dedication to cleaning, that make working beside her such a joy. In the last two years her compassionate efforts have increasingly been focused on the children of Athens Clarke County. Her work as a Court-appointed Special Advocate (CASA) has helped some of our most vulnerable citizens have a voice and a guardian through hard moments in their lives. The children at Canopy are lucky to get the same level of care and thoughtfulness from her during their trapeze and pole classes.”
