Ana Madrid has been taking classes at Canopy since she was four years old, growing up in the studio and developing a lifelong love of aerial arts. Now a Senior Instructor, Ana brings both deep institutional knowledge and a thoughtful, student-centered approach to her teaching.
Ana trains primarily on dance trapeze and rope, and she is experienced in teaching a wide variety of apparatus to students of different ages and levels. Alongside her aerial career, Ana pursued her passion for education, earning both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Early Education. Before joining Canopy as one of the full time instructors, she worked as a classroom teacher at Athens Montessori School, an experience that continues to inform her teaching style, emphasis on individual learning needs, and commitment to creating a supportive and engaging environment for all students.
