When the pandemic hit, Carrie got up work sewing hundreds of masks for the Mask Making for Athens group. During the current election cycle, she has worked on the campaigns for both Mokah Johnson and Nikki Merrit. With her volunteer work with United Campus Workers, Carrie fought to make sure that UGA, CCSD, and Athens are being transparent and honestly reporting Covid data.
Carrie is not put off by hard work, always fighting for what is right. She loves deeply: her family, her community, Canopy. She is a beautiful example of Laura’s love and commitment to the people and world around her. Congratulations, Carrie!
