We are excited to have an act made up of Canopy students in our upcoming Repertory Company Show. Depending on interest, students may or may not perform at every show. The theme for this show “Americana Horror Story.” The act is a group dance trapeze piece choreographed by MJ, Ana, and Mazie with direction from Ashley, Ann, and Mazie.

Register for the assessment

Performer Requirements

Must be a dance trapeze student currently enrolled in a class or taking recurring private lessons

Must be 18+ by the first show

Attend the initial rehearsal to learn the piece for assessment on Saturday, August 2nd from 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Must be able to attend 2-3 mandatory rehearsals, tech rehearsals, and dress rehearsals as well as open studio/extra rehearsals as needed; talk with the directors if you have a conflict

Performers will be split into at least two skill groups – Group A would need to be able to do an inversion and crochet both legs; Group B would not need to be able to do a v-up, but it is recommended to have at least 6 months of trapeze experience. We may need to split these groups based on blocking, not just skill level.

Costumes will be a cost incurred by the performer.

Not being able to perform in all shows will not preclude a student from performing. Depending on level of interest, students may be split into two (or more) groups and only perform in 1 or 2 shows.
