Anything worth doing is worth over doing so on this farewell tour of sorts, we decided to do one last community hurrah!
This is a call for acts to perform in one last full community show in the Tracy Street studio. We want your weird, fun, introspective, sassy, creative ideas!
Act submissions are due by Sunday, May 3.
Guidelines:
Propose an act you would take point on with collaboration with the show directors.
We plan to only accept 12 acts.
Act consideration will be open to Repertory Company members, current students, and special invited guests.
Classes are able to submit an act to perform together.
Extra rehearsal times will be scheduled with a proctor. If you need extraordinary assistance from the proctor or other instructors, private lessons will need to be scheduled at the cost to the student. These practice times will be at no cost.
If your piece is chosen, you are committed. You cannot back out after July 25. The show is being built around the chosen acts. Directors reserve the right to alter or cut acts.
Costumes and props will be at the expense of the performers.
Important Dates:
Act Proposals are due on Sunday, May 3. Acts will be chosen by Monday, May 11.
Shows will be on Saturday, August 29 at 4pm and 8pm.
There will be a tech/dress rehearsal on Saturday, August 15 at 4pm. An additional tech rehearsal will be on Saturday, August 22 at 4pm. Call time for both will be at 3pm.
If everyone in your act cannot be at both shows and the tech dress on August 15, you will not be able to participate. Consideration will be taken for out-of-town special guests.
