New Executive Director Announced: Canopy Studio, Athens, GA
On behalf of the Board of Directors of Canopy, I am happy to announce Ann Woodruff has been selected as the new Executive Director of our organization. If you know Canopy, you probably already know Ann – she has been with us from the beginning, a founding member of our Rep company, and the heart and soul behind some of our most proud accomplishments. And while she has already made an indelible mark on our community driving our outreach and children’s programming for almost a decade, we are excited to see how her leadership, creativity, and passion for sharing her talents with others will shape the next chapter of Canopy Studios as we approach our 20th year.
As Ann steps into her new role, she leaves open her current position as Outreach and Children’s Programming Director. The Board of Directors is already working with Ann on the selection and transition to welcome a new leader to the team. In the meantime, please join us in congratulating Ann as I know you will. We received letters of recommendation from countless parents, teachers, and former students who all felt Ann was the right person for this job. We excitedly agree.
