Canopy is excited to announce our student spotlight for November, Jeff Hepinstall-Cymerman. When it’s time for studio events, Jeff is the first person to ask, “how can I help?” Always with a smile, he helps put up our mats, arrange chairs, move equipment, and take tickets. And most of the time, he’s accompanied by his equally helpful sidekick, his son, Samuel. Both Samuel and Jeff add tremendous amount of kindness and dedication to the Canopy community. We are so lucky to have his energy and enthusiasm.
As a Professor of Landscape Ecology in UGA’s Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, Dr. Hepinstall-Cymerman is not your average Canopy student. Jeff loves the challenge that Canopy provides and actively participates in both the trapeze and fabrics program. He’s proud of the fact that he’s not your typical young circus performer- and that certainly doesn’t stop him from sporting a Captain Underpants Costume when Halloween rolls around!! We adore him for his passion and eagerness to have some fun. Jeff and his family are an integral part of what makes Canopy great!
