Canopy Studio is seeking to create a list of goals to help Canopy grow in our efforts to be diverse, equitable, and inclusive as a community arts organization. With your feedback, the Canopy Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee will confirm that the goals reflect the desires and needs of our larger community. We will prioritize these goals and invest time and resources in reaching them.
Our definition of DEI includes recognizing, respecting, and valuing differences; meeting everyone’s needs with access, treatment and outcomes free from bias and/or favoritism; and ensuring people do not face barriers in their engagement with us because of their personal characteristics.
